The short version

This site sets no cookies. Not one, not even a necessary one. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how the site is performing, and nothing else watches you read this. That is why you have not been shown a cookie banner — there is nothing to ask your permission for.

Nothing is stored on your device

No cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no fingerprinting. Close the tab and this site has left nothing behind on your machine.

What is requested from anywhere else

Every file a page here loads — the markup, the styles, the typefaces and the images — comes from this domain, except the Cloudflare Web Analytics script, which is served from Cloudflare itself. There is no font service, no content delivery network for libraries, no embedded map or video, and no social button. Every deploy loads each live page in a browser and fails if one of them makes a request to any host other than this domain and that one script, so this is checked mechanically rather than asserted.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

A script from Cloudflare records which page you looked at, the page that sent you here, the type of browser and device you are using, your country, and how quickly the page loaded — nothing more precise than that. It sets no cookies and uses no local storage, so it cannot follow you between visits or between sites, and Cloudflare does not use it to track you individually or build a profile of you across the websites that carry it.

Why there is no banner

UK law requires consent before storing anything on your device that is not strictly necessary for the service you asked for. Since nothing is stored at all, there is nothing to consent to. Sites that show you a banner do so because they are doing something that needs permission.

What does happen when you visit

The pages are served from Cloudflare, which hosts this site. Like any web server, Cloudflare sees the technical details of the request — your IP address, your browser type, which page you asked for — and uses them to deliver the page and to block attacks. That is server-side logging, not a cookie, and it happens on every website you visit whether or not it has a banner.
